Joanne Carthey, the co-founder, president and chief executive of Scottsdale-based NetPro Computing Inc, has resigned after 10 years with the company, which made the announcement Aug. 7.
Trish Gulbranson, NetPro's chief financial officer, has been promoted to president of the company.
Carthey, who will become chairman of the board, said, "I built NetPro from the ground up over a period of 10 years, and they have been. the most challenging and fulfilling years of my life to date. But, there comes a time when founders need to step aside and allow their management teams to take their organizations to the next level."
Carthey achieved many honors during her time at NetPro, including the Small Business Administration's Arizona Small-Business Person of the Year award in 1999.
