SHOOTING is one sport which is expected to improve on their haul of medals at the last Sea Games in Brunei in 1999.

The Brunei Games only had the shotgun events - skeet, trap and double trap - while the Kuala Lumpur Games next month will have all three main categories of shooting, including rifle and pistol, for a total of 18 events.

Then, they only had shots at two events as the national team didn't have capable double trap shooters, nor a women's shotgun team.

Although Malaysia's trap shooters should have brought at least one gold - each event offers an individual and a team gold and we have a long history of topping the event at South-East Asian …
