Lacquemanne has Barnesson stake

PARIS (FNS) -- Jacques Lacquemanne, a former managing director of Charles Jourdan, last Tuesday disclosed he has acquired a majority stake in the Barnasson family's footwear interests and been appointed chairman of a new holding company embracing the family's three shoe lines.

Faccem SA, the new holding company, will control the Jean Barnasson, Family and Cecil Romain shoe lines. Together these three brands recorded net sales of 40 million francs in 1988.

However, the three lines only broke even on a consolidated basis, Lacquemanne admitted.
