Two years ago, Pedro Capo, VP of operations for EL Dorado Furniture, found an 80,000-square-foot reason to believe in luck.

After enjoying years of prosperity at its 24,000-square-foot Hialeah store, the Miami Gardens-based and family-owned furniture store found a prime spot on Northwest 103rd Street, also known as West 49th Street - Hialeah's coveted retail corridor.

The property at 1940 W. 49th St., will be home to a new El Dorado "boulevard" store, a 110,000-square-foot furniture store designed to look like a city street with 19 sections featuring different types of furniture. Set to open in September, the store is expected to bring in about $350 to $400 …
