The FTC supports the Federal Reserve System's Board of Governors' (the Board) efforts to expand the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA) protections to increase consumer protections against predatory subprime lending, FTC Financial Practices Assistant Director Peggy Twohig told the Board in San Francisco last week.
