OF STEPPING STONES AND BUILDING BLOCKS
Computer people are resistant to change, often avoiding it like the plague. Others are simply slow at advancing. Most of these individuals, once they've learned to perform their daily task at their place of business, will produce any number of excuses to circumvent the implementation of a new language or procedure. Programmers typically enroll in Computer Science 101 at some university and learn one of the classic computer programming languages as their first language. To try to convince them that newer languages offer constructs and coding capabilities that will greatly enhance their productivity is a difficult task.
