Express Publisher is first to use CG Bullet font technology

Power Up Software, which was formed in 1985 as a spinoff from Software Publishing Corp., has decided to challenge thc latter firm's successful PFS: First Publisher program with its own Express Publishcr. This $149.95 desktop publishing software package will be released in late September. We recently spent an hour with a beta version of it.

Express Publisher is aimed at nonprofessional publishers who want an easy-to-use, WYSIWYG program running under MS-DOS that can send 300-dpi output to a laser printer. Its Windowslike interface features popdown menus, Composition is based on linkable frames. …
