LOCAL companies planning to market their products overseas should package their goods attractively and use simple brand names with international flavour.

Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) training manager Dzulkifli Mahmud said many local products failed in the international market due to plain packaging which was only suitable for the domestic market.
