PETALING JAYA, Tues. - Six armed robbers drove off with two luxury cars, a handphone and jewellery totalling more than RM600,000 after they broke into a businessman's house in Subang Jaya early yesterday.
District police chief Senior Assistant Commissioner II Sheikh Mustafa Sheikh Ahmad said the men, armed with knives, screwdrivers and a truncheon, broke into the house after holding up a security guard and a house maid about 2.30am.
He said the house owner and his family were abroad at that time.
The robbers drove up in a car, stopped outside the house, approached the guard on duty and asked him whether the owner was at home.
