Maserati is calling its two-seat spider simply Spyder. Derived from the 2+2 3200 GT coupe, Spyder will be unveiled at Frankfurt in September with European sales to follow. A U.S. version, heralding Maserati's return to the North Ameri-can market, will go on sale in the spring after its January debut in Detroit.
