AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
China Southwest Airlines recently took delivery of its first Boeing 737-600 aircraft from Boeing Co, making it the first operator of the aircraft in China, according to Xinhua News Agency. The airline is scheduled to receive two more of the aircraft.
The municipal council of Milan, Italy has voted to approve the sale of a 30% stake in SEA, the municipal-owned airport operator. SEA operates the city's Linate and Malpensa airports.
JetBlue Airways, a New York-based carrier, launched a twice-daily service between New Orleans and JFK International Airport on 26 July. The carrier is offering introductory fares for the service, starting from USD69, which are available for purchase until 31 July for travel through 30 September.
