Immunomedics, Inc. (IMMU) announced that early clinical trial data of CD22 antibodies for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma are encouraging.
Dr. David M. Goldenberg, Immunomedics, presented interim results on the use of CD22 antibodies for the therapy of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) at a special seminar, June 25, 2001, held at the 48th annual meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, in Toronto, Canada. Sponsored by the society's Therapy Council, the seminar reviewed progress with various radiopharmaceuticals in cancer therapy.
Goldenberg reported that the (90)Yttrium-labeled CD22 antibody ((90)Y-LymphoCide(TM)) showed very encouraging therapeutic responses in advanced NHL patients who did not respond to chemotherapy.
