J. Walter Thompson has launched its first work for Malibu after taking over the account from Lowe Lintas two years ago.
The new TV spot, directed by Partizan's Traktor, airs this week and continues the "life less serious" theme established in Lowe's most recent campaign.
The ads are parodies of everyday life, transported to the backdrop of the Caribbean and starring local actors. The spots aim to demonstrate how Malibu acts as a catalyst that helps the drinker see the absurdities of the stressful western lifestyle.
