Prudential has split its 40 million [pounds sterling] direct marketing business between three agencies.
TBWA\GGT Direct and Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel have won a large chunk of the account after a pitch against Lowe Live and Rapier organised by the agency search consultancy The Haystack Group.
IMP has also been appointed to work on a significant slice of life and pensions business for the Prudential. The agency did not take part in the main pitch organised by Haystack.
The Prudential account was thought to be worth 25 million [pounds sterling] but a source near the pitch said the figure is now expected to be nearer 40 million [pounds sterling].
TBWA\GGT will take the role of lead agency, charged with developing brand values and a customer database. Craik Jones will act as the "challenger" agency, ...
