Thursday's Berkeley neighborhood edition incorrectly stated an assistant principal's position and school. Rick Burnett is assistant principal at Macedonia Middle School. The county's alternative school has no assistant director.

When school starts in Berkeley County on Aug. 9, three new principals will begin a new year as well.
