Talk about trampling the dead. The recent collapse of dotcomfailures.com seemed to spell the end, even for the dot-com funeral industry. In fact, Web sites that track, mourn and otherwise wail over the corpses of the dot-com era are thriving. On NetSlaves: Undertakers of the New Economy, surfers can peruse the Museum of E- Failures and read The Dead Media Manifesto. Yahoo offers access to a dot-com Flop Tracker. Steve Shah, a cofounder of the U.S.-based DotComDoom, says business has never been better: "Our international readership is up to 45 percent, from only 10 percent last year!"

The big surprise is that there aren't as many dot-coms buried on these funeral ...
