AIDS and the Global Village
Readers responding to our June 11 Special Report on AIDS stressed the importance of global responsibility. "The great powers of the Western world speak of equality for all," one wrote, "but millions of people in the developing world are dying." Another asserted, "This isn't just a health problem, it's an economic-development crisis."
