Bass fishers will not be the only ones to benefit from lake restoration project.
KISSIMMEE -- Bass fishermen and Kissimmee residents have something to cheer about.
The state's 2002 budget, which is awaiting Gov. Jeb Bush's signature, includes $7.7 million to help restore the quality of Lake Tohopekaliga -- a nationally known paradise for bass fishing.
In addition, the federal government may appropriate another $5 million in the Estuaries and Clean Waters Act toward the effort.
