Classrooms in four Denver-area schools will receive another nudge into the digital age, thanks to technology grants awarded by Texas-based Electronic Data Systems Corp. (EDS).
The data processing company, which was founded by Ross Perot in 1962, has awarded grants to Green Valley Elementary School, Longmont Estates Elementary School, Sabin Elementary School and Smith Renaissance School of the Arts. Each school will receive $1,500 to purchase classroom technology.
