The third time's a charm when it comes to Renee Zellweger's fashion choices. The Bridget Jones's Diary star apparently had trouble finding the perfect attire to wear during her monologue as host of Saturday Night Live. Zellweger spent more than an hour at the Chanel boutique in New York City and was heading out the door with her pick when she suddenly changed her mind and left the store without the outfit. She came back a second time but again left the shop empty-handed. Finally, on her third trip back to the store that same afternoon, Zellweger found the black getup she ended up wearing--and looking fabulous in--on the show.

PALTROW Pushes the Pedal

Gwyneth Paltrow sure knows how to wiggle out of trouble. When a New York City police officer was seen stopping her Mercedes SUV for speeding up Sixth Avenue in Manhattan recently, the Oscar-winning actress flashed a big sweet smile and shrugged her shoulders. Paltrow got off with just a warning, but as soon as she continued on her way, she couldn't wait to get on her cell phone to gab with whomever she was calling about her brush with the law--and no doubt to brag about how she got off easy.
