MELAKA, July 4 (Bernama) -- A Form Four student was found dead, believed to have been raped and sodomised, near her house in Kampung Tersusun Koperasi Risda, Serkam Darat, Merlimau, near here, yesterday.
State CID chief ACP Ahmad Nasiruddin Mohamed Shaari said today the body of Nurul Hanis Kamil, 16, of Sekolah Menengah Datuk Abdul Rahman Yaakub, clad in school uniform, was found lying face down by the villagers 150m from her house.
The incident was believed to have occurred between 3.30pm and 6pm when Nurul Hanis was walking home pushing her bicycle which had broken down.
