Whether it's a closeup of a computer-enhanced washing machine or a silicon-enhanced swimsuit model, Web sites are gearing up for growing demand for 3D images on the Web.
That's also the expectation of New Orleans-based Turbo Squid, a digital marketplace for 3D images that said Thursday it closed on a $5.1 million first round of funding that took a year to raise.
