KOTA BAHARU, June 27 (Bernama) -- Federal departments and agencies will move out of Kota Baharu to a new smart township at Tunjong about 10KM from here by 2005, the Kelantan Government announced today.

The time had come for the Federal Departments and agencies to be relocated to the outskirts of the state capital to ease the increasing congestion in the town area, State Executive Councillor for Public Administration, Local Government and Regional Development Takiyuddin Hassan said.

Among the Federal Departments that would be relocated to the new township would be the Kota Baharu District Police Headquarters, the Fire and Rescue Department, the Immigration …
