2001 JUN 14 - (NewsRx Network) -- Educational programs about emergency oral contraception (EC) provided to physicians and other health care providers resulted in an increase in EC prescriptions after one year, according to a study in the June 2001 issue of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
But most providers still had limited knowledge about EC medications, side effects, and mode of action, the study found.
