Sean Pence, Jose Alfonso, and Haley Pitts won their first case before the Supreme Court of Florida recently. However, all three "attorneys" were elementary school students.
The students were visiting the Supreme Court as part of a Law Week celebration. Sean, 7, from Royal Green Elementary in Miami; Jose, 11, from Amelia Earhart Elementary in Hialeah; and Haley, 10, from the Community Christian School in Tallahassee made a great team arguing as respondents on behalf of the Sunshine County School Board.
