The Danish Institute of Electroacoustic Music (DIEM) and the Aarhus Contemporary Music Society presented another season in the concert series "Cinema for the Ear" in September and October 2000 at the underground cinema "East of Eden" in Aarhus, Denmark. East of Eden is best known as a meeting place for film enthusiasts. As in previous seasons, the concert series aimed to introduce electroacoustic works to a new audience--in a movie theater with no images. All the electroacoustic tape works were presented on an eight-channel sound system in the main theater.
