UMW EQUIPMENT TO ROLL OUT MORE NEW PRODUCTS IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS.
SHAH ALAM, June 16 (Bernama) -- UMW Holdings Bhd's heavy equipment subsidiary, UMW Equipment Sdn Bhd, plans to roll out more new products in the next five years.
The new products would be marketed in new market segments, namely government and quasi-government on top of its existing markets.
Currently, UMW Equipment produces heavy equipment for the construction, logging and agriculture industry.
Its director Chew Chee Loon said this at a press conference after the launch of new heavy equipment products here today.
He also said that the company would concentrate on its spare parts business as new sales are created.
