PALAMPUR (HP), June 16. AN expert committee on food is expected to submit its final report in three months following which the "processed food development policy" will be finalised, the Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Mr Shanta Kumar, has said.

Speaking to Business Line, the Minister said that the interim report had been submitted and the Union Government was awaiting the expert committee's final report before the policy takes final shape.
