Canon is promoting its range of consumer digital imaging cameras with a new press campaign from CDP, breaking on 7 June.
The campaign, part of a 3.5 million [pounds sterling] spend, comes six months after Canon's return to TV advertising with the strapline "Bring your ideas to life", and is designed to give testimonial evidence from leading creative minds.
The first execution features ex-Eurythmics star Dave Stewart in a snapshot of his work and everyday life. The creative is a collage of Stewart's thoughts and inspirations, illustrating some of Canon's digital products he uses to develop a CD cover.
