Marcus Vinton, Ogilvy & Mather's executive creative director of digital communication, has quit the agency and is planning to start a new venture.
Vinton would not confirm details of his plans, but is understood to be developing an offering that will combine creative and planning with digital media.
It is thought that the venture will get work through deferred client contracts from other agencies -- as yet unnamed, but at the same time will source its own business.
The new company, headed by Vinton and two others, who have to resign, may also produce branded TV content targeting the music and entertainment business sectors.
