Neil Dawson and Clive Pickering, one of BMP DDB's top creative teams, have resigned to become creative directors at Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
The duo, who were behind much of BMP's most highly decorated Volkswagen work, including its "wedding" Polo spot, will report to John O'Keeffe, BBH's executive creative director.
They will be one of a few teams to have creative sign-off on a number of accounts at BBH. It has yet to be decided which accounts the team will be working on.
Dawson said: "We apologise for the timing and we've had a lot of fun over the last four years. We're sad to leave but it's a great opportunity."
He added: "BBH has got so much in common with BMP in terms of its pedigree and history. John O'Keeffe seems a straight-talking person who we got on with instantly."
O'Keeffe said: "They've got a great track record. There's a fantastic momentum at BBH, which I want to keep going. I'm sure they'll add to that immensely."
