Lanham-based ROWMAN & LITTLEFIELD PUBLISHING GROUP has purchased two trade book publishers: Dallas-based TAYLOR TRADE PUBLISHING and Boulder, Colo.-based COURT WAYNE PRESS. Terms were not disclosed.
Rowman & Littlefield will integrate Taylor Trade, the 20-year-old publishing division of Taylor Publishing, into its Cooper Square Press program in New York. Taylor publishes books about gardening, biography, history, film, sports and parenting.
NATIONAL BOOK NETWORK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rowman & Littlefield, will sell all Taylor Trade titles. NBN also is based in Lanham.
