There will be life after death tax repeal for small business lobbyists who want to free family-owned businesses from the estate tax.

Once CONGRESS passes the current tax cut Package, small business groups will begin working on speeding up repeal. Both the House and Senate versions of estate tax repeal cut the top estate tax rate and raise exemptions, but do not repeal the tax until 2011.
