KOLKATA, June 9. UCO Bank has recorded a net profit of Rs 33 crore in 2000- 01. It was on net profit track for the second consecutive year. In 1999-2000, UCO Bank's net profit was Rs 37 crore. Now, it is gearing up to build its brand by extensive product advertisements and restructuring operations to reduce decision-making delays.

Addressing newspersons here on Saturday, Mr V.P. Shetty, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), said that the bank had reached a milestone.
