THE one-year-old alliance struck by five global airlines is expected to bring in an increase in the revenue and passengers volume of the respective airlines by at least five per cent this year.
"That is our target this year ... to see an increase in sales of between five and six per cent from last year's figures," said Patrick Low, Air France's area manager for Malaysia.
At the time of its launch in New York in June last year, there were only four airline members, namely Air France, Aeromexico, Korean Air and Delta Airlines. Just recently Czech Airlines became the latest partner of this alliance called SkyTeam.
