PULAI Springs Resort in Johor is offering guests a chance to sample the best of Penang hawker fare without having to travel all the way up north.

The resort is holding a "Penang hawker fare" promotion at Gleneagles Terrace until June 10.

Chefs Tan Seong Pin and Lim Fang Leong, from the Chef's Association of Malaysia (Penang chapter), have been invited to concoct delights that are truly traditional.

Patrons can taste favourites such as char kway teow, luk-luk, hand- rolled popiah and oh chien (oyster omelette) during the promotion.
