Jakarta, May 7 (ANTARA) - President Abdurrahman Wahid said here on Monday he was little bit confused to see the act of people who objected to the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh province. "The implementation of Islamic shariah does not mean the chopping of limbs or the stoning of someone found guilty," he said at the commemoration of the Budhist holy day of Waisak at Senayan Stadium.

He said even in the United States, which is a big country, the law could be different from one state to another.
