Kammer plans 1st store on U.S. shores in July

PARIS (FNS) -- French shoe designer Charles Kammer will open his own store in New York next July, with plenty of new production capacity in Europe to supply the U.S. market.

The project could signal significant wholesale and retail expansion for Kammer in the U.S.

Located in Manhattan's Soho district at 400 West B'way, Kammer's first U.S. store had been leased last September, but rehabilitation work on the building prevented him from decorating the interior similarly to the 20 stores he already operates in France.
