Dato Paduka Haji Matussin bin Omar, Special Duty Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony of the Language, Literature and Malay Language seminar that took place at the Language and Literature Bureau yesterday.

Dato Paduka Haji Matussin said: "The constitution of the country states that the Malay Language is the national language. However, this will remain meaningless if people refuse to acknowledge the importance of incorporating the Malay Language into the national identity."
