Spurs practice facility gets an assist from HealthSouth Corp.(San Antonio Spurs)(Brief Article)

As first reported by the San Antonio Business Journal's web site, the NBA San Antonio Spurs have finalized plans for a new practice facility to be constructed near the Medical Center.

One day after the Spurs secured the Midwest Division crown April 11, Spurs Executive Vice President for Public Affairs Leo Gomez confirmed the franchise will build its first practice facility on land donated by Birmingham-based HealthSouth Corp. The site is located on Floyd Curl Drive, just south of Huebner Road.
