Center City District to air its first TV promotion.

The Center City District's 10th anniversary campaign launched this week featuring a TV spot, a first for the organization.

The 30-second ad, which will air on KYW-TV during morning news shows, is a time-lapsed ride through Center City on the back of a taxi set to quick percussion and funky bass.

Thirtieth Street Station, City Hall and the Peco Energy Co. building all make their appearances.

The TV spot, plus print and radio ads, were produced for CCD by The Weightman Group, a Center City ad agency that won the account in January.

Weightman also developed CCD's first campaign in the early 1990s.
