Young firms often can often benefit from a more 'professional' look

If you work from home, you probably don't enjoy such perks as receptionist service, conference rooms or mail sorting. But you can.

If you're starting a new business, you probably can't begin work on move-in day. Or can you?

For companies or individuals with flexible needs, there is flexible office space.

Small offices and independent contractors without a staff seem to benefit most from this type of work space. One can use flexible office space services, such as reception, to create an impression of grander circumstances.

"It gives (clients) a professional address," said Sarah Barber, vice president of the Boston office of HQ Global Workplaces Inc., a flexible office space company based in Dallas, with about 17 Massachusetts offices.
