Carol Cassara lives a bicoastal lifestyle.

She takes jets between California's Silicon Valley and the Silicon Valley wannabe, the Tampa Bay area.

The senior vice president operates the San Jose, Calif., branch of the public relations firm Tucker/Hall Inc.

Before Cassara joined Tucker/Hall in 1995, she lived in San Jose. She left for Tampa just before the Silicon Valley community embarked on phenomenal change.

In 2000, the firm sent her back to the West Coast, where she works in an at-home office.

Tucker/Hall specializes in technology and public affairs, and wanted to establish an "outpost" in Silicon Valley, Cassara said.
