SARASOTA COUNTYFrances M. Astles

Frances M. Astles, 94, Nokomis, died May 8, 1998.

She was born Jan. 15, 1904, in Stoddard, N.H., and came to Nokomis four years ago from Contoocook, N.H. She was a bookkeeper.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth N. of Nokomis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

There will be no local services. Direct Mortuary Service in Sarasota is in charge.

Charles T. Borem

Charles T. Borem, 74, Sarasota, died May 7, 1998.

He was born May 1, 1924, in Sewickley, Pa., and came to Sarasota two years ago from Sanford, N.C. He was a 1949 graduate of the Michigan State University. He retired in 1982 from Hartford Insurance Group in Los Angeles. He served in the Navy in the South Pacific during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Judith T.

Memorial services will be private. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge.

Robert K. Crampton

Robert K. Crampton, 43, Sarasota, died May 7, 1998.

He was born April 10, 1955, in Fort Knox, Ky., and came to Sarasota 29 years ago from Columbia City, Ind. He was a warehouse manager at Royal Recycling in Bradenton for 13 years. He was a recipient of a Selby Foundation scholarship and …
