Picture this: You're a teacher. You wake up Saturday morning, throw on a robe, stroll over to your computer and navigate to www.cnn.com. All the week's news is in front of you - ready-to-go lessons in geography, business, politics and history, served online like breakfast in bed.

Comcast Cable wants to make that scene a reality for Sarasota County's more than 2,000 teachers. To do it, Comcast is offering them free access to high-speed cable modems at home.

The cable company will waive its $100 cable modem connection fees and give the teachers a free month of access, saving them an additional $39.
