Champs Sports, the Bradenton-based division of the troubled Venator Group Inc., has a new president and chief executive.
Venator announced the management reshuffling this week. The company said Champs Chief Executive Paul Davies resigned and was replaced by Richard Mina, head of Foot Locker Europe for the past three years.
Mina is Champs' third CEO in less than two years. Venator did not elaborate on why Davies resigned.
The Bradenton firm employs about 110 workers at its headquarters on Manatee Avenue. Champs includes 640 stores in North America.
