Even though more and more people are looking things up on the Internet, the American Library Association wants to remind you that the local library is still the first place many people turn to for information.

This year, "Read! Learn! Connect! at the Library" is the theme of National Library Week this week. The theme links the increasing importance of computers in the library with the tried and true attractions of the free public library system - reading and learning.
