Despite an injury-shortened season, Booker senior Justin Hamilton was named the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Class 4A Player of the Year on Tuesday.

Hamilton, who has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Florida, played in just 15 games this season due to leg injuries. Still, voters must have been swayed by his 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists, five steals and three blocked shots per game.
