A barbecue, good friends and plenty of Florida sunshine were the ingredients that helped make the recent Seniors Friends of Columbia Fawcett Memorial Hospital outing an enjoyable one at the Port Charlotte Beach Complex.

According to Janet Walker, director of Senior Friends, some 1,821 members enjoy the variety of activities, trips and excursions that are planned every week. It's a ready-made social network, which is particularly nice for those who are new to the area. If you are interested in the program, call 627-6159.
