KLANG, April 29 (Bernama) -- Incumbent Kapar Umno division chief Datuk Seri Onn Ismail showed the way in practising the spirit of compromise when he did not seek re-election to allow his deputy Datuk Abdul Rahman Palil to win unopposed today.

Onn, who had led the division for 16 years, was in turn elected unopposed as the division's permanent chairman at the delegates meeting.

Compromise was the order of the day as there were no contests for all key posts except the vice-chief's.
